These terms apply when you use minglecities.com or the Mingle Cities app, both operated by Mingle Cities LLC. Using them means you accept these terms.
Who may join
Mingle Cities is for adults. You must be 18 or over to create an account, and you confirm this when you join.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself.
Events and tickets
A ticket admits the number of people it says it does, on the date it says. Each seat has its own code; sharing your own code does not admit two people.
Some events let you name a guest and pass them a ticket. Where that is allowed, the ticket is theirs to use and yours to have paid for.
We may change or cancel an event. If we cancel, see the refund policy.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown before you pay and include any processing fee, which is stated separately at checkout.
Payments are taken by Stripe. Mingle Cities never sees or stores your card number.
A booking is confirmed when Stripe confirms the payment, not when you are returned to the app.
Mingle+ membership
Mingle+ is optional and renews automatically at the price and interval shown when you join, until you cancel.
Member benefits are those described on the Mingle+ page at the time. Selected events offer member pricing and early access; not every event does.
Founding member pricing, where offered, stays with you for as long as you keep your membership continuously.
Behaviour at events
BE KIND · BE YOU · BELONG. We ask everyone at a Mingle event to be decent to the people around them.
We may refuse entry to, remove from an event, or close the account of anybody who harasses, threatens or endangers others. Where we do, the event refund policy still applies unless the conduct was the reason for removal.
Your content
What you put on your profile is yours. You give us permission to show it to other members according to the privacy setting you choose.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use.
Closing your account
You can delete your account from the app at any time. Records we are required to keep — such as the record of a payment — are kept for as long as the law requires.
Emails and notifications
We send you the emails the service needs: receipts, tickets and claim links, reminders, changes and cancellations to the events you have registered for, password resets, and account and security messages. These are not optional while you use Mingle Cities.
If you have a Mingle account, we also email you announcements of new Mingles, Mingle news and offers. These are on by default. Every one of them includes a link where you can stop any or all of them without signing in, and you can choose communities and kinds of event in You → Notifications. Buying a ticket or registering as a guest does not sign you up for them.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email.
